Book Review: For The Moon Is Hollow And Aliens Rule The Sky

For the Moon is Hollow

Title: For The Moon Is Hollow And Aliens Rule The Sky
Author:Rob Shelsky

You won’t be Moonstruck by the title, but you may be Moonstruck by the content of the book

I think the cover of the book is kind of ugly and the title a bit misleading. However, I do believe this is a well-crafted book. Until about five years ago, I never really thought much about the moon. It was when an asteroid came relatively close to us, that I started to examine the question of how the moon got there. The more you read information that NASA had released ,such as the moon being a different aged in the earth and it ringing when rocket boosters struck, the more questions you have. The book does a good job in highlighting problems with the moon. I agree with the author when he says that the Clementine satellite, launched in 1994, purportedly took 1.8 million photos of the far side of the moon and yet only 170,000 were released. Even if the figure was wrong and only 10,000 were classified and never released. You have to ask why? Why should any pictures of the moon be classified? It’s not like Isis will use them against us.. The logical conclusion is maybe the aliens really do rule the sky.
