Book Review: Time of the Quickening: Prophecies for the Coming Utopian Age

Time of the quickening

Title: Time of the Quickening: Prophecies for the Coming Utopian Age
Author: Susan B. Martinez Ph.D.

What makes a good book?

This was the most difficult book for me to review. How do you judge a book that you are not that fond of when it has one chapter that is excellent? This book is meant for die hard, touchy-feely type newagers. It tries to show a sort of historic flow to now, the time of the quickening. About a third way in the book is a chapter dealing with narcissism and a narcissistic country. The insight is exceptionally good, and drives the point home.” The loss of American lives is tragedy. Civilian deaths overseas are collateral damage.”I always ask people, how they would react if the Russians hunted terrorists in the United States and attacked them with drones? Another quote from the book is “our fervor is patriotic. Their fervor is fanatical.” I believe this chapter should have been developed into another book trying to tackle those narcissistic problems that the author describes.I know if the quality was like the rest of the chapter, I would love the book . All I can say is that if the book is ever a reduced price Amazon special, buy it for the one chapter
